Cassandra Armstrong is a Philadelphia-based artist creating oil paintings that explore intimacy, memory, dreaming, sensuality, and emotional atmosphere. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania, she continued to refine her artistic practice through independent studio work. Her work moves between softness and tension through fluid brushwork, creating scenes that feel intimate and quietly cinematic. Through bold color, tactile forms, and compositions charged with presence, she creates emotionally resonant spaces shaped by memory. 

Her work explores the subtle language carried through the body, gesture, textiles, and domestic interiors. Her paintings linger in the space between comfort and longing, reflecting on what it means to fully inhabit the body, emotion, and interior life.
